I selected the wrong color I wanted by accident, my fault for not double checking, but either way I enjoyed the feel this product had on my lips. As mentioned, it is sheer, so don’t expect any high pigmentation, however the pigmentation it does add is a nice subtle touch of color on your lips. The sheer color and shiny gloss doesn’t last for long on my lips, but I don’t mind reapplying it every so often since it’s still a nice formula and moisturizes my lips while adding that bit of color and shine to make them look nice. At first, I thought the small heart in the middle of the lip balm was for show, but after multiple applications i realized it was part of the product. I found that to be such a cute addition to its design. I did end up purchasing the right color I wanted at my nearest Ulta, so now I try to have one or the other shade in my purse wherever I go. Definitely satisfied with the first purchase I made here, despite my human error. Ladies, always remember to double check you selected the shade you intended to select hahaha.

I love ELF cosmetics, and this product did not disappoint as I was in search of a very sheer, very light wash of color. It is not as dark as pictured, which turns out to be just what I needed. It is very hydrating with a perfect hint of color.

I’m completely impressed with this ELF LIP-SHINE! I’m really liking this! It is hydrating and the color is so pretty. The scent is very light and not overwhelming. Comparable to the high end kind. Love it!

First of all, elf products are amazing to begin with! But this hydrating core lip balm is sooooo good. I pair it with a lip liner and I bought the colour joyful and am in love with it. Bought this about a week ago and have purchased more! Doesn’t dry your lips after use, gives a good shine, not sticky and honestly hydrates them and adds a bit of colour. Love. Love. Love!

I bought “Delightful” thinking it would be a nice plummy color and it was like a frosty pinkish. Very unflattering. Also I agree with others, the taste is weird, but not exactly a deal breaker for me. I also bought “happy” and that was very bland “lip” color that does nothing for you except a teensy bit of shine. STILL I’m intrigued by these glosses so I’m not giving up.
